A collection told in seven scenes, descending from the surface to 11,000 metres.

Question

Can a collection be presented as depth instead of a catalogue?

Idea

A fictional label presents its SS27 collection “Strata” through the halocline — the layer where two waters meet and do not mix. Five looks, five depths.

Visual language

No scrolling page: seven full-screen scenes slide horizontally and vertically, a depth gauge runs from 0 to 11,000 m, and five coats appear as procedural 3D sculptures — no photographs, no models.

01

Five looks, five depths

Each look is a scene of its own: a name at display scale, a price, sizes and a sculpture generated in code. Light and dark scenes alternate like layers of water.

Built for a thumb

On a phone the scenes stack vertically and change with a swipe. The type and the controls keep their order, so the collection reads the same way.

The abyss

The last scene closes the descent at 11,000 metres with the collection statement and a way back to the surface.
